Kiwiplan Advanced Scheduling – A high-level course designed for users who are familiar with PCS and CSC and competent with basic scheduling techniques using these applications. Participants will develop a greater understanding of features and options available and gain insight regarding parameters that drive scheduling results. After completing the course users should be able to schedule the plant and corrugator more effectively; optimizing corrugator production results (reduced side trim, maximized web width, etc.) while balancing these results with the needs of the production floor in order to increase throughput, efficiency and on-time delivery and reduce downtime and waste. Participants will also gain a thorough understanding of production, waste and downtime reports available. If a user has not attended one or both of the Intro classes listed above and is not a proficient user of the Kiwiplan Scheduling System this class is not recommended.
